"every thing will change"

languages are funny things. today ben (my other friend ben) called from germany. someone interrupted him at one point and asked him something in the background. i heard him talk in german! it was cool. He said he has to think before the english comes to him. like he made his host sister a cup, and while she was drinking out of it for the first itme, she wanted to know what that action would be called in english. (virgin cup, we decided he should tell her.) she went to new zealand once so she speaks a bit different english.
more on languages. "translate" is a funny word. across-tardy, you would think. spanish people get confused by english because first you chop a tree down, and then you chop it up! when i go to florida in a few days, my grandma will try to talk to me in ukrainian and she will pretend i can understand her. she has a point. maybe it's ancestral, genetic, inherited, maybe i will.
anyway, in spanish two (icky class. but the teacher's first name is "kimberlee" which is cool) we have this project where we have to write a children's book. i just typed it up in spanish on a free translating site, and then had it see how i thought it was matching up in english. this is what came out:
There was once, there was a girl was called Felicia. Its parents called she "Felicia" because she was happy, as "happiness." Felicia went to be seven years old to Friday. She was touched proque she wanted to have a festival with for her birthday to celebrate. Felicia asked its parents for a festival. ITS mother abandonment, "I feel It Felicia, but its father and I do not we want to have a fiest. We are ourselves many busy. Some time." Felicia was not happy with these news, but she understood. When there was Friday, she herself pello as there was a regular day. She went to school and aprendo with her companions in the class of history. When the class began, the master abandonment to the class, "You know that today is?" "Today is my birthday!" Felicia exclaimed. The remainder of clse are you laughed. "Very well, Felicia. Tmbien, is March first," abandonment the teacher. For Felicia, is imported nobody. She wanted a festival. Then the class, the school he finished. Felicia I left and he walked to his house. During it he walks, Felicia believed that there was people they hid of her. Suddenly, she vo people behind the trees of their house. The people saltieron and they exclaimed, "Sorpresa! Felz birthday!" Was all the families and friends of Felicia. There was a festival surprise for the birthday of her! Felicia was a lot of happy and emocianada. A lot of people they saw. There was the pareintes of Felicia as their parents, great-grandfathers, and stepsisters. The friends of Felicia saw tmbien. The family concinaron a supper with many foods. There was paste, bread, salchicas, and roasted chicken. Went very tasty. There was lemonada to drink and a psatel with candles for dessert. The family and the friends sang "Felz birthday" to Felicia. She was seven years old! Everyone he was celebrating. Then, they played play and activities. Felicia wanted to enjoy with its friends Juana and Mara. All they played together. The small disfruatron. Mara counted jokes while Juana salta the cord. Felicia trepo to the trees. Despues, everyone broke the piata. There were many candies! The friends ate them all. At eight o'clock, Mara and Junana went to its houses. Duespues, the family gave many gifts to Felicia. His brother-in-law he gave she a wrist with blue eyes or long hair. His great-grandfather, who was a lot old, he gave she a dummy of plush. The favorite gift of her was a puppet of his parents. Soon, was a lot late. There was time for the family to leave. They said good-bye and went home. Then, there was time for Felicia to sleep. There were some very well birthday. She her liked her gifts. She tuvio a good while. But, now there was tiempo to sleep. Was tired. She went to her bed and pensi, "Felz birthday to my!" The End!
okay, i know i messed up some words and that these translator things are shifty, but i thought it was pretty funny.
whatever language you speak, speak it well. mrs. brown's license plate says "VANGOES." it was a good coincidence. i worked too much on grammar yesterday. i got all the assignments done in one sitting. now in everything i read i see verbal phrases. ugh!
more to do. i'll write more later better. it gets easier the more i do. adieu
