sunny side up
that name now makes perfect sense. i saw it, sprawled out across the horizon, hovering above. the yolk was not solid, but lingering out across the mountains' tops. the best part was directly below, although there was no distinct line. Blue. i understand. it was a robin's egg blue, and then there was the yolk. life, all over again. the clouds nestled in perfect sheathing form. it slid below, not as an entity yet as itself. everything was past and beyond my eyes. i would follow it if i could. we were heading that way. it left. sunny side down.
