pass/act-ive
In Latin, were beginning to learn the passive voice.
It shifts everything around.
The subject of a sentence is usually the performer of the verb in a standard active voice.
Example: I like you.
In passive voice, the subject becomes the receiver of the action.
Example: I am liked by you.
I personally have no preference for which voice is better. I enjoy both of them, very much.
