~an interlude~
did you know that yesterday, january 23, is supposedly
(or, as Petie would say, "supposeably")--
the most depressing day of the year??
i don't know about you, but my yesterday really wasn't that bad.
guess what?! i really shouldn't be on here right now.
i read in article in TIME last night and it had a term to describe this:
s.c.r.e.e.n. s.u.c.k.i.n.g.
the times are busy, and there is plenty to do in this way that's actually pretty exciting and fine.
i'm excited about spring. i saw glimpses of it outside the window during calculus today.
it's kind of like the feeling when someone warms up to you, you know? like you finally get to know them a bit better, and something in their demeanor thaws down a little. that what happens to the weather, and i love it.
oh, sure, i know that we're a long way off of that. but gosh!
there are reasons that it has been so long since i last wrote here.
