i love explosives
i see no need to deny how nice brad pitt looks in a skirt. sometimes i hear of girls liking guys that i don't see anything attractive about them: sean william scott, johnny depp, the old man sean connery, etc. they just aren't cute. but brad pitt... i totally get it.
so troy was pretty good. and the end the credits included that it was inspired by homer's the illiad. i bet it was inspired by other things as well... like the hollywood ways of somehow finding ways to add in pitt's ass scenes (thank you) and graphic decapitations. it's all cool with the american audiences though. you don't hear me complaining, just saying.
before the movie, my mother wanted to stop at walmart. she seems to have an addiction to hall's cough drops, because that's all we picked up besides some swedish fish for the movie. on the way out, we walked past this crappy pickup with a dog barking. like most dogs, he was cute. so i barked back. as i waited for mom to unlock the door, i guess there was a lady that was sitting in the pickup because she got out and said to me in complete seriousness, "don't mess with my dog." i just said ok, trying to sound in a complete normal tone even though thoughts of her sicking her big barking dog on me were crossing my mind. as we pulled out of the lot, i read one of her bumper stickers: "I love explosives."
i had woken up this morning and i was like damnit, it's sunday, no more sleeping in like this for an entire week. i thought that because last night was so not a waste of a friday. so now i'm up all late again tonight. the olsen twins are on snl. what a bore. maybe i'll go read. or write. or think. and maybe homer will inspire me too.
