me in the sea
All my molecules swell and sway
And my rosy warmth
Melts them softly down,
a calm blood rush, slow tsunami,
And I'm flowing under the touch
Of ineffable waves.
My rapture finds sync
With the ebbs and flows
And nudges and tugs and presses
Which I rise and sink
In earnest to meet.
I don't hear my own sounds
And this implosion feels singular
But I know I am not adrift
In this pulsating sea.
My face gracefully collapses
Into a whimpering composure
Of deep longing, fragility, celebration.
This is what you do to me
This is what the world does to me
I do not know how
To make my own waves.
