julia is edward's girl friend. for over a year now. she kept one of these once, too. long before she met him. here is what she wrote in it.
my heart is aching so hard tonight. i can't read your writings, i can't see your face knowing the way you left. i am not in love with you but something attaches me to you. the feeling that it would have been different if i had been okay when you were here. i wish things would have been so different. memory is selective, so erase that week. i hope there will be a next time and i can show you everything you missed before. because you were right what you said in that park, i don't fully understand you, and the wave of regret washed over me the moment those words left my lips.
