the adapting bunny wabbit
walking with him today was lovely. bunbun is a bit psycho, we decided that he knows more than he lets on. the rabbit, of course.
watched "adaptation" today. it's a really weird movie. but it has good voiceovers and it makes me like nicholas cage even more. i think it is all based on a very true story, beside the back of the dvd case says that the screenplay was done my the kaufmans. i wonder if donald is really dead. hope i didn't just ruin it for anyone.
amidst all of the really odd characters and the plot that remained pretty much at the same level for 79% of the time was a pretty profound moment. i hope i remember this if i ever get rejected (it's inevitable...)
donald: i loved sarah, charles. it was mine, that love. i owned it. sarah didn't have the right to take it away. i can love whoever i want.
charlie: but...she thought you were pathetic.
donald: that was her business, not mine. you are what you love, not what loves you. that's something i figured out a long time ago.

that might come in useful once all is said and done. at least it had a happy ending.
